Rural America has been decimated over the past 30 years with contracting economies, brain drain and reduced access to health care. Sidney, Nebraska, is a prime example of this, with the community suffering a huge loss to its local economy upon the relocation of Cabela’s corporate headquarters. Despite this, health care remains an important component (and growth factor) for the community — and for entire region.
